Insecta Epidemous
Imaginary future adaptation of insects to human life during COVID crisis.
Insecta Epidemous is a group of insects that adapted into the urban environment, especially in domestic settings during the COVID-19 epidemic in 2019-2020. This project uses the creation of imaginary insect species as a way of mapping our topic, which is human footprints in nature. Each species is adapted to a specific reality of the epidemic.
As a final visualization, my peer and I created a website that introduces those species. Using a combination of illustrations, photos, and icons, we organized the information to be easily read yet informative. The photo shows how insects camouflage itself in an indoor environment.
