Sushi Americanization

This project is aiming to illustrate how sushi, a traditional Japanese cuisine , has modified to fit into American culture.

This is an outline of the transformation. I categorized the kinds of transformation based on the research and illustrated them.

To illustrate the peculiar transformation further, I made an animation outlining the americanization, then apply the same sort of change to the American food, such as hotdog and hamburger. In the animation, traditional nigiri sushi is turned into a sushi doughnut, while a hamburger is turned into a bento.
